The Face of the Beloved

Every face that I see is the face of the Beloved
The Beloved is Me and I am the Beloved
I drink the sweetness of Your divine grace
Removed is the tale of yonder days
The story of separation and woe
Undone into the story of Love and release.

Oh, gracious One, Father of Light
Identity released into the presence of peace
Joy and Freedom, birthed into the world
With the Child’s remembrance of innocence for all
All is one, the Beloved’s promise foretold
To all that would listen and live as this one.

Roundabout, lessons repeating themselves
Until the lesson learned, forgiveness unfolds
Light and stillness, the mind becomes quiet
The sacred space making itself present
Into the space, the Face of Identity
Our choice is made, for illusion or presence.

The truth is easy, sweet to the taste
For those who would make the great escape
Away from the darkness, we swiftly ride
On the horse of contentment away from the fear
Into the light of freedom, the joy of sharing
Our world awakens, as we let go the illusion of distance.

My world responds, I can hear the choir
The song of heaven, begins to shower
Upon my existence, the obvious is certain
There is no more illusion, the circle is woven
One Life of existence, one face of innocence
The rising of spirit into the life of this dimension.

Rise my beloveds to the sound of the trumpet
That whispers the song of One life triumphant
Dare to believe, this melody of Self is true
Born in the Image, the Image that is You
Beloved of God and God the Beloved
Heaven arrives as this day most wanted.

Only in time does it seem that it arrives
The glory of Love and the end of time
Yes, you and me, One Self it is true
Fear and guilt no longer need be
Away in the manger, where the Christ awaits thee
And awakens the slumber, to All that We Be.
